Send conversions by webhook

To send conversions by webhook, POST each new order, signup or review to the widget's own webhook URL as JSON or form fields. Every field you send is stored with the conversion and can be used as a {variable} in the widget text.

The URL

Each data-driven widget (recent sales, sales counter, reviews) has its own URL in this format:

https://app.autosocialproof.com/pixel-webhook/YOUR_WIDGET_KEY

Steps

1. Copy the widget webhook URL. Open the widget, go to its data settings and copy the webhook URL.
2. Choose the fields to send. Decide what the popup should say, such as name, city and product.
3. Send a test POST. Use curl, Postman or your automation tool with JSON or form fields.
4. Check the Data tab. Confirm the test row and its field names.
5. Use the fields as variables. Write the widget text with {name}, {city} and {product}.
6. Connect your real source. Point your store, CRM or automation tool at the URL, then delete test rows.
