Choosing a widget
Which social proof widget should I start with?
Start with the widget that matches your main goal. Stores usually start with the recent sales popup, busy content and event pages with the live visitor counter, and list builders with the email collector on exit intent. Add a second widget only after the first has a week of data.
How many widgets can I run at once?
As many as your plan allows, from 25 on Free to unlimited on Agency. Running two or three per page is plenty; more starts to compete for attention.
Are all widget types on every plan?
Yes. Plans differ by websites, number of widgets, monthly impressions, statistics history and branding, never by widget type.
Can widgets use data from each other?
Yes. Collector widgets can be selected as data sources, so email signups can feed a recent signups popup or a counter in the same campaign.
What is the difference between a popup and a bar?
Every widget can sit in one of 13 positions. Corner positions feel like a notification; top and bottom positions feel like a bar.
Do widgets work on mobile?
Yes. Each widget can be shown or hidden separately on small and large screens, and positions, close buttons and durations are configurable.
Can I translate widgets?
Yes. Widget text supports translations, and you can target widgets by browser language.
Are there widgets you do not offer?
Yes, and we say so: there are no spin-to-win wheels, chat widgets or push notifications in AutoSocialProof today. We only list what the app actually does.
No question matches that. Try another word, or ask us directly.
